Class of 2020 – How do you take Senior portraits during quarantine? With humor, of course!

August 31, 2021

My good friend’s son was one of those unfortunate, young adults that graduated high school in 2020 during the lockdown from Covid. This was in the beginning stages and nobody really knew what we should do. We all stayed home and were afraid to even go see each other. We wanted to get S’s graduation photos, so I set up a black backdrop in our backyard, so they could go through our gate and we could maintain a safe distance. I used natural light, filtered by our overhanging porch. This was during the toilet paper shortage, so his mom brought a roll of tee pee to add a little humor. What better props to represent the Class of 2020 than masks, hand sanitizer and toilet paper. (If you were lucky enough to have toilet paper.)
